
Fine-sil517 silica particles can enhance the defoaming effect of defoamer. In defoamer products, the defoaming effect needs to be strengthened by silica particles. The silicon dioxide particles are brought to the bubble air water interface by silicone oil and enter the bubble liquid membrane. Due to its hydrophobicity, the contact angle with the surfactant droplet is greater than 90 degrees, thus forcing the foaming liquid to drain off the surface of the solid hydrophobic particles, causing the local rapid drainage of the foam to cause breakage. In this way, due to the synergistic effect, the two components produce a good defoaming effect. It is widely used in defoamers.
